Coffee in Costa Rica

One thing I really like about Costa Rica is the coffee that they have here. Everyday I always want to get some. It’s so delicious! Here in Liberia, I have seen people make coffee with the traditional Costa Rican “chorreador,” and it actually tastes better than the machine-made version!

One thing I noticed is how much Ticos drink coffee. I live with a couple of locals, and we drink coffee almost every morning together. They say everyone here drinks coffee – it’s a very social thing to do here. Even the kids drink it!

When I was living in the States, I didn’t drink near as much as I do now. I always thought I wouldn’t need it as much or that I wouldn’t like it as much. But now I am drinking it everyday and am happily addicted!
